Well, we intended to have our friend Kate Giampetruzzi sing this one. We met at Sunny’s on Saturday evening and sat in the back room. We had Charles Puckette playing tenor guitar and Ken Ficara and Trip Henderson on twin harmonicas. It was not to be! Our trusty H2 Zoom recorder ran out of batteries. Sorry, Kate.
So we had to re-record this one yesterday in our living room.
This take sounds good to us, but afterwards we discovered a melodic mistake in our rendition of the song. Can you guess what it is? This question probably applies only to hardcore Carter fans. If you get it right, we’ll dedicate our next upload to you.
